In my latest episode of What If? Why Not? How?, I chatted with Nola Saint James, the popular regency romance author. Nola began reading romance novels to get a break from her “real life” job — as Rabbi Jo David. She realized that an hour curled up in a comfy chair with a well-written book was the best stress reliever in the world. Especially if good vanquishes evil and the main characters always get their “happily ever after.” One night she had a dream in which a raven turned into a handsome man. She woke up, went to her computer, and quickly wrote the outline for the first of her Ravenscrofft Chronicles series, The Curse of the Ravenscrofft Brides. She’s been writing Regency Romances ever since. Please click through to hear more about her adventures as a regency romance author and to get a glimpse of the behind the scenes stories of her novels.
